BiVo018: Lessons from 14 years of marriage to Olu Sobanjo

On the 14th of August 14 years ago (2004) I got married to this beautiful daughter of God – Olu Sobanjo. Lots of good things have happened as you can imagine in 14 years. I am happy to announce that I am grateful to God for giving me such a wonderful wife. I do not take the credit for choosing her. God helped me! Now that I have the benefit of hindsight I choose her again today and every day.  On this episode of the BiVo Podcast, I share just 6 lessons out of many that I have learnt over the years! Enjoy.

Lessons

  • 2 people are better than one
  • There is much more in your spouse than what you can see immediately
  • You need your spouse to be a great minister because ministry starts at home
  • An authentic following of Christ does a better job than teaching and talking
  • Praying for your spouse is the best prayer you can pray for yourself after “Lord have your way in me”.
  • If you continue to aim at being a blessing to your spouse – you will have a successful ministry!

  1. Thanks a lot sir. Your message is a blessing. Sir, how do I recognise my area of interest in ministry?
