What does it mean to succeed as a bi-vocational Pastor? How do you know that you are doing well as a BiVo Minister?
- When you have a sense that God is pleased with you
- When you observe consistent spiritual growth in your biological family
- When people are being added to the kingdom and to the local church regularly
- When there is regular water baptism and filling with the Holy Spirit in the ministry
- When you see an increase in the number of ministers from within your ministry who believe in the vision and are committed to it
- When you have more funds to meet the needs of the church or ministry without cajoling the members
- You have a clear sense of personal spiritual growth and more visible evidence of God’s supernatural power in the ministry
- When you experience consistent numerical growth of the local church
- When you have a clear and measurable impact in the city
- For the church planter – when the church can run smoothly even when the church planter is not there to run it.
Once we know what success means we can then prayerfully come up with a plan that helps to achieve these!
If the model that you are following or the plan you have, is not helping you achieve the above goals, you may need to go back to the Lord to get clearer instructions!
