The BiVo Minister Blog

Everyone is called

When we were little (5-7 yrs old), my sisters and I would play “house”.

I was the dad, my immediate younger sister was the mom, and my 2 last sisters were the children.

We knew from that young age that we would one day be parents. Our parents wanted us to be parents.

Everything they did was designed to train us to be effective and responsible adults and parents.

We were ALL trained to be parents. None was ignored. They believed we would grow up one day to be parents.

They even prayed about it and declared that we and our children would blessed.

As a disciple of Jesus, it is our responsibility to do EVERYTHING with the mindset that the believers that God leads to us, can and will be great disciple-makers.

Blessings

5 Steps System to a Happy Marriage!!

💥If your marriage is NOT AS HAPPY AS you want, and you are CONVINCED that your marriage can be much better than it is right now, BUT your spouse is not on the same page…

…Invest in yourself by reading every word of this post.

Let’s tackle it.

It must have been around Sept 2006, I knew my wife was not happy and I was not happy either. I was doing everything I knew to do.

I prayed, tried to talk, I tried to change and each time, there seems to be some progress, but the changes did not last.

Olu was trying her best. I noticed all the effort she made to be the best wife that she could be, the more she tried, the more frustrated she became because she did not get the transformation she was expecting.

On that day, I knew we had to do something about this problem.
How can two people who love themselves so much be hurting so much?

So we called an older female pastor friend. She came to our house.
We both spoke she gave us some great advice and she left.

I wish I could say that everything changed immediately. Sorry to disappoint you. They did not.

💥 However something happened, I discovered that I could change my marriage alone by working on the right things.

We knew we wanted the best marriage on earth. So we began to study and work and what we came up with has transformed our lives and those of many of the members of the church that we pastor, and our friends.

With these discoveries, I have helped people overcome infidelity, physical abuse, verbal abuse, hopelessness, frustration in their marriages….

Whenever we celebrate our anniversary, here is what we ask ourselves.
”If marriage can be so sweet and gets sweeter every year what would it be like after 27yrs or 40yrs?

Let me tell you there are 5 major steps that you need to transform your marriage.
It doesn’t matter if your spouse is ready to work with you at this time or not. If your spouse is ready, things move faster. However, many spouses catch up later 😀.

💥 If you are ready to take these 5 steps, your life would move from one of frustration and hopelessness to joy, confidence, peace, and hope.
Imagine your marriage getting better every month.🕺🏿💃🏽

Your happy marriage is not the only result. Our boys are so happy in the home that they positively discuss their hope of getting married as soon as they are old enough.

Not only that, we are able to work together on all our projects.
We maximize the benefits of having one another to help, especially when it comes to disciple-making.

I guess you are working very hard like I used to. Some of the things you are working on are the cause of the trouble and some are taking your time away from the real stuff.

I have been helping people for 15 years, you would be amazed to know how many of your actions are actually killing your marriage.

Are you:

  • 💧 Praying for your spouse to change,
  • 💧 Visiting the pastor’s office a few times a year
  • 💧 Calling extended family members to intervene
  • 💧 Complaining
  • 💧 Begging
  • 💧 Shouting
  • 💧 Threatening
  • 💧 Attending couples therapy
  • 💧 Watching videos directed to couples

And still, things are not moving forward?

💥 Then you need to work on the 5 steps.

I want to, not only tell you what those steps are – I want to give you training on HOW to master them.

For years I only shared this with close friends and church members. But after recovering from a stroke in 2017, I felt led by the Holy Spirit to share all the things I have learned with as many people as possible.

I have read lots of books. Some have really excellent advice for couples but very few have information for people who have to fix their marriages alone.

💥💥💥 This training is of extremely high value to anyone who wants to rebuild their marriages on their own with the help of the Holy Spirit.💥💥

If you are CERTAIN of the following:

👉🏾 God wants YOU to be happy in your marriage👉🏾 You are CAPABLE of more peace, Joy and fruitfulness than what you’re currently getting (if you just know the right things to do) 👉🏾 You, like me in 2006 DO NOT want to lose your opportunities in life to grow, raise emotionally healthy children, make disciples & advance.. you are committed to growth in your life on every level…

I want to give you something.

It covers the 5 steps I mentioned earlier and it’ll dive deep into how to master them.

This is the exact replica of how we transformed our marriage the way we did way back in 2006.

Here are the rules: 👉🏾 NO sharing with people who only want to complain about their spouse👉🏾 IMPLEMENT (nothing worse than getting info and doing absolutely nothing with it – if this is you I’m sorry, please don’t bother asking for this)

This is Scripture-based training on how to have more joy, peace, and fulfillment in your life and marriage whether your spouse cooperates with you right now or not.

💥 This works in every nation and every culture. 💥 Get it, implement, and report back. 💥

Do you want it?

“5 steps” in the comments below or send me a DM and I’ll send you the training at no cost to you!!.

LET’S GET MORE JOOOOOY and Happy Marriages!!

Prayer for Unsaved Husband |Powerful Prayer Points

This year I asked for prayer requests from the brothers and sisters on my mailing list. I could not help but notice that a disproportionate number of them asked me to pray for their unsaved husbands. So I decided to write this post titled Prayer for unsaved husband. In it, I hope to share the prayer points I have been praying for these husbands so that if you need to pray for your husband, you can do the same.

Why are you praying for your unsaved husband?

I am sure you know that your prayers can make a big difference in your husband’s life. And you may also know that it would make a big difference in your life and the lives of your children as well.

This is exactly where you can make a mistake. Are you praying for your husband so that you can have an easier life or are you praying for your husband because you know that God is interested in him?

If you are praying a selfish prayer, it may take longer because God is more interested in transforming your heart so that you can be at peace and live in joy regardless of how your husband behaves.

I know that this may be hard to swallow, but it is the truth. Whenever we go to God in prayers for a selfish or self-centered request, we don’t get what we ask for. (James 4:3).

So I suggest that you start your intercession for your husband with a search in your heart to discover the true motive for your prayers. You can start with this prayer.

Dear Heavenly Father, I know you love my husband [name], please search my heart and help me to pray for him because you love him, because I love him and not just because it would be good for me.

If you find that you have been praying for him mostly because you want to have an easier life, then repent. Ask God to help you and begin to pray for him because you know that God wants him to surrender. You can use a prayer like this.

Dear Heavenly Father, I am sorry that I have been thinking of myself each time I have been praying for [name of your husband]. It’s not about me. It is about your will for [your husbands name]. From now on, I receive the grace to pray for [your husbands name] because you love him and I love him and you have a plan for his life.

Prayer of Faith for your unsaved husband

Are your sure that your husband would be saved and confess our Lord Jesus Christ as his Lord and saviour?

You need to be sure of this so that you can receive your husband into the Kingdom of God.

I have discovered that when I pray based on an assurance from God, I always get what I pray for. And this is what our Lord Jesus teaches in Mark 11:22-24.

It is important that you are completely sure that our Heavenly Father has promised you what you are asking for. This will enable you to pray with great boldness and extraordinary confidence.

This confidence and assurance is usually based on a scripture that the Holy Spirit impresses on your heart as you come before the Lord in prayers or as you consider the situation. An example of such scripture is 1 Tim 2:4. It gives us confidence that God our father wants everyone to be saved.

There are more scriptures that the Lord may place on your heart. Use this scripture and pray with great confidence and boldness for the salvation of your husband. The question is no longer if he will be saved. What you are waiting to see is how and when.

This is the prayer of faith. It is prayer that leads to thanksgiving. You pray until you are sure and you spend time giving thanks for the salvation of your husband.

I got a very good understanding of the prayer of faith from a book on prevailing prayers by Charles Finney. You can read an online version of a chapter in the book here.

Prayer Points for your unsaved husband

Now that we have covered the state of mind that you must be in to pray, you are now ready to pray for your husband.

I suggest that you let the Holy Spirit lead you to pray for him. The truth is you really do not know exactly how to pray for him. But the Holy Spirit in you is always willing to help you pray (Rom 8:26).

Here are a few prayer points you can start with. Please do not be limited to these prayer points. Let the Holy Spirit guide you to pray similar prayers that are specific to your husband.

1 Tim 2: 1-6

[su_box title=”Sample Prayer” box_color=”#2aa9d5″]Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you for [ ]. I thank you because you want him to be saved. The blood of Jesus has been shed for [ ]. Thank you for placing [ ] in my life. I thank you that he is alive and still has a chance to receive the Lord Jesus as His savior. Lord, please let things work out so that [ ] would come to the knowledge of the truth about your Kingdom. I pray this in the Name of Jesus.[/su_box]

Ephesians 2:1-5

[su_box title=”Sample Prayer” box_color=”#2aa9d5″]Dear Lord, I agree that [ ] is lost. He is dead in trespasses and sins. He does what he wants, without regards to your laws and your love for him. I agree that he deserves the full punishment for his sins, just like I did. Dear Lord, I know that you are rich in mercy, and that your great love towards [ ] is being released right now. I agree that it is your mercy that has kept him alive till this moment. Let your mercy, continue to be extended over [ ] and please let him see how lost he is. Lord show your mercy to [ ], I pray in the name of Jesus. Dear Lord, open the eyes of [ ] to see how much you love her! In the name of Jesus, I stand against the spirit of the power of the air, that is at work in [John]. I declare, that the blood of Jesus is against you. I break your powers over the life of [_____]. From now on, in the name of Jesus, [John] will no longer walk according to the lust of his flesh and mind. Rather, [ ] would submit to the love and lordship of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. [/su_box]

Luke 10:2

[su_box title=”Sample Prayer” box_color=”#2aa9d5″]Heavenly Father, You asked us to pray to you, the Lord of the harvest to send laborers in the harvest of the world. Dear Lord, please send other believers into the harvest of [your husband’s name], to share the good news of your kingdom with him.[/su_box]

Warfare for your unsaved husband

2Cor 4:4 (NLT)

[su_box title=”Sample Prayer” box_color=”#2aa9d5″]In the name of Jesus and by the blood of Jesus, I stand against Satan, the god of this world that has blinded the mind of [  ], I demand that you release his mind so that he can understand the gospel of the kingdom of God. I pray in the name of Jesus, that the darkness around their minds would be lifted up and they would be able to see the glorious light of the good news.[/su_box]

[su_box title=”Sample Prayer” box_color=”#2aa9d5″]I pray that [  ] would begin to see sin as God sees it. That they would be disgusted by sin, convicted and seek freedom in the name of Jesus. I pray that the things of God and the words of Christ would have real meaning to them in the name of Jesus.[/su_box]

More Prayer Points like this

I have more prayer points like this in my article on how to pray for lost souls. I suggest that you take more prayer points from there as your intercede for your husband.

Pray for Yourself

This is a very important part of this process. Your life is the most vivid example that your husband has of what the kingdom of God looks like. In 1Pet 3:1 we see that a husband can be won to the Kingdom of God by the behavior of their wives.

So please ask the Lord to help you to reflect the Kingdom of God and the life of Jesus so clearly that your husband would be won to Jesus. You can pray like this.

[su_box title=”Sample Prayer” box_color=”#2aa9d5″]Dear Heavenly Father, Please continue to do your work in me. Help me to live like you and love [name of your husband] unconditionally. Let your life in me convict him and attract him to You. Let him taste and see that Your kingdom is great by his interaction with me. Please Lord, let your extraordinary love for [your husband’s name] flow through my eyes, my mouth, my attitude and my behavior. I ask all this in Jesus’ name.[/su_box]

Forgive your Husband

The first action that the Lord would help you to do is to forgive your husband. If you do not forgive, it is hard to have faith in God. (Mark 11:25)

Final Words

I am praying along with you and I am confident that if you follow the guide here, you will see your husband come into the Kingdom of God. I am confident that God who lead you to this article has great plans for your husband. Please do not forget to send me a note when your husband comes home to the Kingdom of our Heavenly Father.

Who can baptize a new believer according to the scriptures?

One of the members of our BiVo Network asked me to write a little more about the questions. Who can baptize? Can any believer in good standing baptize another believer? Or is baptism reserved for only the ordained ministers?

From Matt 28:18-20, I believe Jesus gave the first disciples the great commission. They were expected to make disciples and teach those new disciples to do ALL the things that Jesus commanded them to do.

That means if the command to make disciples is for everyone, the command to baptize is also for everyone. Although the people we see in the Bible performing baptisms were apostles and evangelists (Philip), we do not read anywhere in Acts of the apostles that it was reserved for these people only.

What we see actually is that Paul clearly stated in 1 Cor 1:14, that he did not baptize many of the Corinthians. Although many Corinthians believed (Acts 18:8), Paul did not baptize them. He must have delegated that responsibility to some of the brothers that were with him.

So can we just baptize anyone indiscriminately?

No. All we need to do, however, is to ensure that we are operating in unity with a local body of believers. If you are functioning in a body of believers (church), then you can represent that body to baptize a new believer in the presence of witnesses. Then you promptly report the good news to the church. That is how I believe it was done in the early church and it is how I believe the scripture teaches us to do it.

If you are part of a local assembly, there are elders or pastors called to serve you. These leaders like Paul will delegate the authority to baptize other new believers to you and you are ready!

So dear brother and sister you are a BiVo Minister, trust God that as you live your life as a disciple, find people of peace, start discovery groups, you will soon have an opportunity to baptize some new believers while your brothers and sisters celebrate with you.

10 Powerful Prayer Points from Matthew 9 that will change you and your family!

In our church family, we have been led to pray in a chain for 30 days in January 2021 round the clock while reading through the book of Matthew. Here are the powerful prayer points that I have extracted from Matthew 9. Use it and add yours to it.

  1. Oh Lord, you know my thoughts! I receive grace to always reject evil thoughts from my heart. Help me dear Lord to focus on You and Your will for me. (Matt 9:4)
  2. Oh Lord, I have faith in you. I place my life at your feet. Please work in me so that I can bring more glory to you. I pray in Jesus’ Name. (Matt 9:1-3).
  3. Dear Lord, shine your light on my life and reveal the sins that limit my effectiveness and fruitfulness. I receive grace today to obey all your instructions in the name of Jesus. (Matt 9:5-7).
  4. Oh Lord please continue to do wonders in my heart and all my life such that people who see me in action will glorify You, my God. (Matt 9:8).
  5. Dear Lord, thank you for calling me. I accept your call to me to follow you and be a fisher of people. Lord help me to recognize the people you are calling like Matthew, people who are ready to follow you. (Matt 9:9-13)
  6. Thank you Heavenly Father for the new covenant! Thank you for cleansing me and making it possible to come to you by the blood of Jesus. Now I can fast so that I can devote my time to you and hear from you. (Matt 9:14-17)
  7. Dear Lord, I believe like this ruler that when you touch anything, it gets fixed, if it is dead it would come back to life. Therefore Lord, whatever good thing that has died in my life, dear Lord Jesus, I present them to You so that they can receive life again.
  8. Every vision, business idea, ministry, relationships, cell, or organs in my body receive new life now in Jesus’ Name! I present my life to you, Lord. Have your way. (Matt 9:16-26)
  9. Lord Jesus, I receive You as my healer. You are the same yesterday, today, and forever. You healed every disease and every sickness among the people. I receive healing in my body in your name. My body! Receive healing now in the name of Jesus. As I lay hands and pray for the sick in your name, dear Lord glorify yourself and let them receive healing. (Matt 9: 27-35)
  10. Dear Heavenly Father, you are the Lord of the harvest. Please send out laborers into my neighborhood, my workplace, my city, nation, the unreached people groups all around the world to bring in the harvest of souls. I surrender to you as a laborer. Please, Lord, send me to the harvest today. Lord, please send me those people whom you have prepared for harvest today. Dear Lord, please help me to recognize the people who are ready to be brought into the Kingdom. Help me to preach the good news of the kingdom, to heal the sick, cast out demons, and show your love to the people all around me by brings your solutions to their problems. (Matt 9:37-38).

What is a Simple Church? Is God speaking to you?

A simple church is also known as a House Church or Organic Church. Simply put, it is a group of disciples of Jesus who live out their faith together in a network of small groups. Simple churches have a simple structure. They meet in homes or other free locations and encourage every member of the church to participate in the ministry and to multiply disciples.

In a previous post, I shared the 9 reasons why our new church plant is a house church or simple church. Yes, we started already. I have also answered the question about children in a simple church.

In this post and ongoing, I plan on editing this post to share the details about simple churches and share how we operate as a network of simple churches in 3 countries.

House Church or Simple Church vs Traditional church in the Home

What makes a simple church different from a traditional church set up in a home? There is a difference. Here are some of the major shifts that you would need to think about.

No 45 mins sermon – In the simple church, the scripture is read and everyone shares what God is speaking to them from the scriptures. This imprints on the mind of everyone, that every disciple of Jesus has the Holy Spirit in them.

Breaking of Bread (Holy Communion) is done at every meeting. This is done in obedience to the instruction of Jesus to do it as often as we can in remembrance of Him.

Food in the weekly meeting (Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner). We eat together before or after the meeting.

Simple and Flexible Program Structure – The order of service or flow of events is quite simple. It varies from church to church but there are some things that always happen in every meeting (Scriptures, Singing or music, Food, Breaking of Bread, and prayers).

Flexible meeting days – In many nations of the world, the weekends are usually the best times to meet. However, with simple churches, some meet at other times of the week because most of the people in the group are unable to meet on the weekend. In some nations, the meet on Fridays, others meet on Saturdays etc. We meet on Sunday mornings in Cornwall.

Non Christian are not invited to church gatherings – This not typical of all House Churches. This is more typical in some Disciple Making Movements. This is the model we have been led to follow.

So how do we make disciples if we don’t invite the lost?

We start what is called Discovery Groups and help the people who are interested in knowing Jesus (people of peace) discover Jesus in scriptures. Every member of the church is encouraged to start discovery groups and as a church, we pray for these people to become disciples of Jesus and get water baptized.

In many places, many members of the discovery groups get baptized together and form a simple church (with ongoing coaching from a pastor in the network). If just an individual gets baptized, them they are invited into the simple church that the person who baptized them is part of.

All disciples are encouraged to make disciple and baptize new disciples – In traditional churches we usually reserve water baptism to the ordained clergy. In simple churches however, we just encourage disciple to baptize new disciple just like Jesus commanded in Matt 28:18-20.

This post is going to get very long. But I’ll stop here right now.

Here are some resources that I used to learn more about simple churches. When God began to speak to me about simple church networks in 2019, I thought it was new. Oh boy, was I wrong? I keep discovering new house church networks that have been doing very well for many year.

How to Disciple Someone Effectively – 7 Time Tested Tips!

One question that comes up often when talking about making disciples is this. How do I disciple another person effectively?

I would not pretend to have all the answers to this question. However, I would like to suggest a few points that would help you to disciple another person effectively!

Let’s start by asking another question. How did Jesus disciple the apostles? (Mark 3:14-19)

  • Jesus called 12 men.
  • They stayed with Him and observed Him as much as they heard His teachings.
  • The were sent to do what Jesus did (preach, meet needs by destroying the works of the devil).
  • They were not perfect – they all denied and deserted him at the last minute.
  • One of them betrayed Him.

What was the result of Jesus’ Method?

  • Although they all deserted Him, they were restored and they continued the work.
  • They were accused of turning the world upside down
  • We still have hundreds of millions of disciples today over 2000 years after.

Following the example of Jesus, how do you disciple someone effectively?

  1. Disciple people in small groups (3-12)
  2. Baptize them (make sure you are water baptized) (Matt 28:16-20)
  3. Let the disciples see you and watch you as you follow Jesus.
  4. Show them how to read, understand and obey Jesus from scriptures. (You can use the DBS method).
  5. Give them a lot of opportunities to practice what you are doing and teaching. That is listening to and obeying Jesus. (Luke 10, Matthew 10).
  6. Let them start making efforts to disciple others as soon as they have started following Jesus. Remember that one of the main instructions of Jesus is to make disciples. (Matt 28:16-20)
  7. Let Love be evident in you and show the disciples that Love is the greatest commandment. (Luke 10:25-28)

Is this for Pastors only?

I know you are wondering if this article is for pastors only.

No! It’s for all disciples. You baptize new believers. You show them how you obey God’s instructions from scriptures and in your spirit. You work with groups instead of individuals. You train and expect them to do the same things that you are doing.

So you may wonder what the characteristics of a disciple are. I wrote about them here.

Why do you think Jesus worked with a group?

I have a few reasons why Jesus may have worked with a group. There may be some more. If you think of more please add them to the comments section below.

  • When working with a group, you can still deal with individual issues from time to time.
  • Working with a group makes it possible for the members of the group to challenge and encourage one another.
  • working with a group protects you because there are always witnesses to what is going on.
  • If a person is thinking in a way that is very different from the group, they can easily see it.
  • When some are weak, the other members of the group can strengthen them.
  • When you are no longer around them as much, they can remind one another about what you have shown and taught them.

As a pastor I have a lot of experience with this. There are things I hear the church family members who were around us when we first started to actively make disciples say that makes my spirit dance for joy.

It’s amazing these days to just watch people share the life of Christ with others. We have even begun to see the children share some of the truth that they have learned. It’s such a joy!

So how do you begin the process of discipling a group of people?

The first step usually is to be a good disciple yourself. Make Jesus and his mission your priority and then have a simple but consistent disciple-making routine.

As you spread the love of Jesus to everyone around you and speak affectionately and passionately about Jesus, you will soon find people who are interested in know Him. You then lead them to Jesus through a discovery bible study in what we call a Discovery Group.

Thats how the group starts and thats how you begin the process of discipling someone effectively.

I started my first group in 2001 in Montreal Canada among university students. These students are now married (some married each other) and they are making disciples for Jesus today. At that time I did not know about the Discovery Bible Study. Regardless we used what we had and the Lord blessed our work.

You can start today with a simple disciple making routine and lots of prayers.

Even teenagers can be discipled and turned into Disciple Makers

Listen to what God is doing among highschool students in Kingfisher, USA.

Do you have other tips? Please share in the comments section below.

Have you been blessed by this article, save it to Pintrest.

Really practical steps that you can use to disciple anyone. That is, help someone move from a new believer to a matured believer.

What does it mean to be a Disciple of Jesus?

Jesus gave a very important instruction to His disciples in Matt 28:18-20. He told them to make disciples of all nation.

So what are the characteristics of a true disciple of Jesus? Will Jesus call you a disciple? Or will Jesus say You Cannot be my disciple?

Here is a list of Characteristic that I believe every disciple should have.

This list is not exhaustive. It is just a list to start from.

As a disciple of Jesus you:

  • Believe that Jesus is your saviour from sin. (John 3:16)
  • Believe that Jesus is the Lord of your Life (Luke 9:23).
  • Repent and continue to confess your sins to God and receive forgiveness as the Holy Spirit convicts you. (Acts 2:38 and 1 John 1:9).
  • Are baptized (Matt 28:18-20)
  • Live in obedience to the commands of Jesus (in the gospels and the entire scriptures) (Matt 28:18-20, Matt 5-7)
  • Love everyone around you as you love yourself (At least you are trusting God to do this in you and through you). (John 13:35)
  • You are filled with the Holy Spirit and are being filled. (Act 2:38)
  • Are always seeking to know the will of your Lord Jesus and obeying them regardless of the challenges involved. (Acts 9:6).
  • Have Disciple Making and Discipleship as a priority. (Matt 28:16 – 20)

I believe we can start with this list and build on it.

I hope that this helps you to begin to see what the Bible says about being a disciple of Jesus. It’s not exhaustive. However, if you start here, the Holy Spirit will lead you to all the other things.

Your turn!

Are there some other characteristics of a believer that come to mind? Please add them to the comment section below.

Have you ever asked the question, what does it mean to be a disciple of Jesus? Here are some good answers!!!

One thing every Disciple Maker must do to make your message more effective!

Your actions speak so loud, I cannot hear what you are saying.

Ralph Waldo Emerson

I pray that no one would ever say this about you.

What I hope that people would say about you is this!

Your actions speak so loud, I am so sure that God is real and you really know Him.

Don’t think that you have to be perfect in your behaviour for people to sense the presence of God around you.

God would reveal Himself through you if you do just one thing!

What is that one thing?

Treat EVERYONE you meet, as if your Heavenly Father sent them to you! or Love Everyone around you like you love yourself. Or Do to others what you want them to do to you. (Luke 6:31; Mark 12:31).

If you are born again, and the Holy Spirit lives in you, this one thing would get easier as you allow the Holy Spirit to take charge of your life.

I know that there are very many steps involved in allowing the Holy Spirit to take charge of your life. However, all those steps are for the Holy Spirit to do.

The Holy Spirit has been transforming all kinds of people to kind, loving, gentle people for thousands of years. He would do a good job with you.

Let me give you a quick tip!

Start by confessing to the Holy Spirit that you cannot love unconditionally without His help. Tell Him that you would not try. That you trust Him to do it in you. Tell Him that as He helps you, you will obey Him. (Phil 2:13).

Then watch the Holy Spirit do what He does best over the course of your life!

This same principle is what is needed in every aspect of our walk with God. We confess our weakness and surrender to the Holy Spirit’s leadership and we simply obey as He transforms our lives.

You can heal the sick, get victory over sin or habit, operate the gifts of the spirit, make disciples, transform cities all by the power of the Holy Spirit.

My biggest challenge all these years as the Holy Spirit has been working on me is that after learning a few things, I start thinking that “I’ve got this”. Then I fall flat on my face. So over time, I have come to learn that, I am never going to get it. I will always need to trust the Holy Spirit. Now it feels much easier in most areas.

Your Turn

How has it been for you? Please share with me in the comments section below.
